The Paralympians could teach us all a thing or two about positive mental attitude for sure.

It’s easy to let self doubt and daily challenges grind us down. It’s important to regularly recognise things we can improve on or risk being slaves to our ego. It’s equally important to recognise the good in what we do, build on it and keep moving forwards.

How much time to you make for self-reflection? How much time do you make for peace and quiet? Notice the excuses you make for not doing this…

Block this time in. Your happiness and the happiness of everyone you come into contact with depends on it.

Reconnect with who you are and with your dreams. Don’t allow the demands of others or your own toxic thoughts to drown your happiness.

When muscle is built it stretches to breaking point. Challenges can feel like this but they, like the rigours of high impact exercise, are part of the course and they help mould us into the people we need to be to go from strength to strength.

Welcome challenges as opportunities for growth and stay on your own course.
