Respect and Reverence

When we take at the expense of another, we disrespect life. When we take and don’t give back, we are not aligned with our true nature. These actions create discord and an imbalance that comes back to us with the same intensity that we have put out. It has to in order for balance to be restored.
Acting reverently however, brings us an immediate feeling of intense wellbeing and if practised regularly, creates a life for us far more abundant than we could ...ever design for ourselves.
Without reverence, our experiences are limited and destructive. With reverence, our experiences are expansive and compassionate.
Respect is our opinion, our judgment imposed on another. In this way, respect is exclusive.
Reverence, however is all-inclusive because it honours everything and everyone. Reverence doesn’t judge others but recognises that everyone and everything has value and is here to bring balance and contrast. Reverence respects all life in all forms.
Acting reverently is our natural state. It is our true soul nature. People who choose to behave destructively towards others are unaware of their soul nature and they operate out of fear and from limited self-awareness.
A reverent business person brings new energy into the work that they do. They see their work as a purpose, not a job and with this knowing, they are motivated by driving success, not only for themselves but for everyone in the company. They drive success, not at the expense of others, but in service of others.
How do you bring reverence to your workplace?..
